Hitachi Data Systems Unveils Cloud Packages – But is Uptime Assured?
03Nov11
Another big name unveils a cloud package with some interesting twists.
Although it sounds quite complex, I must say the concept of a 3D cloud boasting a 360 degree view to tackle the toughest business challenges does sound intriguing.
But clouds have been in the press for all the wrong reasons over the last six months or so. And it all boils down to a poor deliverable quality of service in respect to uptime.
It’s for that reason I am disappointed that there is no mention of how one might expect this multi-dimensional data to be available just at the point that you need it. So drill down into the actual contract and see if there is any mention of uptime assurance.
Does anyone know?
