As if all the banking outages that I have referenced recently weren’t frightening enough, here is some evidence of what is happening in the manufacturing sector with regards to downtime …
The really scary thing is that this could just be the tip of the iceberg – the suggestion is that calculations understate the true financial impact and include only the more obvious cost factors, such as labour and reduced volume.
So we come to the same conclusion – uptime matters.
