Research: virtualising mission-critical applications
20Sep12
According to research reported on by Computing this week, there is still reluctance to virtualise large scale corporate data. In IT terms these are the databases that are considered mission critical. However, the landscape is shifting, although there is still concern about the performance and availability in such environments.
Fear not! To bullet-proof such moves (and companies will have to do this to remain agile), it is worth considering a platform and server technology designed for this very purpose. Fault tolerant systems will provide the peace of mind.
